Churinga Employment Support Service (CHESS)

CHESS has been offering quality professional employment opportunities to young individuals for over 15 years. Over time and with dedicated staff our team has developed the necessary resources to help individuals who are already part of this program with their employment goals and positive worklife.

Our experience has shown that possibilities are endless, especially when people form life long friendships and reach heights they never though imaginable. The team under the ironing service have been together for a very long time and enjoy providing the service. The job satisfaction and morale is high and the success is well recognised by the community they support.

Without CHESS employment opportunities for these individuals would far and few between. The popularity of the service has lead to a profitable business that will inevitably expand its location within the surrounding communities. CHESS Ironing Service has become a formidable business venture. The team are always motivated and the growth is attributed to the positive nature and support of its staff.

CHESS also runs a garden maintenance service. What was once a seedling, this service is now a thriving team of very active employees. Despite the drought, this garden maintenance and service team has introduced itself to a growing client base of home-owners, schools and small businesses around the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

With further nurturing, support and a friendly approach, this business will no doubt continue to develop and expand into other localities and provide employment for people with a disability throughout Melbourne.
