TEAM ACCORD

The Aussie Workplace Challenge (not to be confused with the Global Challenge) is designed to energize staff and enhance the Accord employment brand by boosting employee engagement, morale and team spirit! Team results are entered on the official site where a virtual tour around Australia is animated on screen based on the total number of steps taken by each member of the team (to find out more click on http://www.aussiechallenge.com.au/ ).

Whether the team's goal is weight loss, building resilience to stress, or just having fun with their workmates, Accords 9 teams of 3 o r4 people have engaged and energized themselves like you would not believe.

We managed to register 3 teams officially, but not to fear, Accord is running the teams locally so that no one is left out. Far more than just a Pedometer based walking programme, we know already that this challenge has seen people engage more frequently and some are quite competitive. The team spirit is running high. Results for each team are updated below every Monday 5pm. A Blue Ribbon is placed on the leading team each team.

We congratulate those taking part and a prize will be offered to the winning team at the conclusion of the event. Hopefully we will get more teams and ALL OF THEM registered online in time for the 8 September 2008 Challenge. If youa re keen on joining in - please contact Dom Moollan with your team name, participants and details well before the next deadline. This round finishes in August.
